Environmental and Social Impact Assessment
Grontmij provides Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Environmental Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) for a broad range of projects - from roads, highways and ports to paper mills and pharmaceutical industries. Grontmij works for the international oil and mining industries in countries as different as Greenland and Laos - always with due consideration for local experiences and conditions. We are a global company and therefore familiar with the varying formal requirements in many countries and the requirements imposed by international financing institutions.

Strategic Environmental Assessment
Grontmij staffs the assignments according to our client’s needs and wishes, often with a variety of services covered by our specialists within environment, social impact assessment and resettlement, hydrology, climate change, occupational health and safety, gender and biology. We strive for mobilising the team that creates most value for the client.
Grontmij assists in the preparation of Strategic Environment Assessments (SEA) plans and programs in several countries in Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. As a part of our services Grontmij also assists our clients in structuring, organising and conducting the national training programmes in SEA.
